Google has partnered with a number of tech companies to develop and build a set of design and integration guidelines for use in server motherboards, network cards, laptops, phones, consumer routers, IoT devices. The project,  OpenTitan, is their new open-source secure chip design project.

According to Google, OpenTitan is going to be run by a non-profit community called LowRisc’ and will be platform-agnostic and adaptable for any software or device.
