Cohere, a start-up that created major language models to compete with those from OpenAI and AI2Labs, today announced the regular acquisition of its trading platform for application and service development. With the API, customers can access well-tuned models in the list of native language applications, in some cases at a fraction of the cost of competing offerings.
The pandemic has accelerated the digital revolution in the world, forcing businesses to rely heavily on software to streamline their processes. As a result, the demand for natural language technology is now higher than ever before – especially in business. According to a 2021 survey from John Snow Labs and Gradient Flow, 60% technology leaders have shown that their natural language processing (NLP) budget has grown by at least 10% compared to 2020, and a third – 33% – said their profits went up to more than 30%.
