Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI LP, has revealed that the company is not currently training a new iteration of GPT-4, its most sophisticated artificial intelligence model.
Altman revealed the information at a gathering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. OpenAI debuted GPT-4, a sizable language model, last month. It can produce text, clarify mathematical ideas, and carry out other operations. In an internal OpenAI evaluation, GPT-4 successfully passed a simulated bar exam, demonstrating that it is also a very skilled test-taker.
The feature, according to OpenAI, also improves GPT-4 in other ways. Developers can now create plugins that enable GPT-4 to perform actions on behalf of users in addition to just generating text.
