The New York Stock Exchange has decided to reopen its trading floor, allowing a limited
number of market makers to return on Wednesday, nearly three months post-closing it due tothe pandemic.
More designated market makers, overseeing the trading in the exchange’s 2,200 listed
companies, will get permission to return back this week, adding to the 25% of participants
coming back when the trading floor partially reopens on May 26.
