In order to allow businesses to run more complex language models, Nvidia Corp. unveiled an upgraded version of its GH200 Grace Hopper chip.
The chip was described in-depth by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang during his keynote address at Siggraph, a computer graphics conference taking place this week in Las Vegas. The GH200 (pictured) is currently being produced, according to Huang. By the end of the year, Nvidia hopes to begin sampling the chip, and by the second half of 2024, it expects to begin shipping with servers.
According to the company, the updated GH200 is the first processor in the world to support HBM3e memory.
