After introducing Nvidia Fleet Command, a cloud-based service for deploying, operating, and scaling AI applications at the edge, the firm has now released new features that help solve the distance between these servers by enhancing the management of edge AI deployments globally.
Instead of having to send data to a centralized cloud or data center for processing, edge computing is a distributed computing system with its own set of resources that enables data to be processed close to its source. Nvidia asserts that edge computing shortens the time required for data to move back and forth, which speeds up analysis.
Through its cloud interface, Fleet Command is made to facilitate the control of such deployments.
