Nvidia Announces ‘World’s Fastest’ Graphics Card

Fujitsu Claims It Has Created the World_s Fastest Quantum Simulator-01

Nvidia is launching what it claims is its most powerful consumer desktop graphics card to the general market. In January, Nvidia introduced the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti at CES 2022, claiming it will be “a monster GPU” that would outperform last year’s USD1,499 RTX 3090.

It would be the company’s next “Big Ferocious GPU,” according to the announcement. The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, according to Nvidia, has 10,752 CUDA cores and 24GB of 21Gbps GDDR6X memory.

According to Nvidia, it has “78 RT-TFLOPs, 40 Shader-TFLOPs, and 320 Tensor-TFLOPs of power.” While the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti may follow the same path as the RTX 3090 and 3080 last year in terms of availability, prices for last year’s RTX-30-series graphics card models are plummeting.
