A new report from Deloitte highlights the choice of multiple technology companies they face when it comes to business principles. The report, “Without good intentions: Roaming the moral crisis facing the technology industry” has highlighted the conflicting power in the workplace.
In a survey conducted by technology experts, 82% firmly agreed that their company had a code of conduct. In the same survey, only 24% strongly agreed that the technology industry adopts a code of conduct for the products and services it creates.
Another Deloitte study of Millennials and Gen Z found that 70% of both groups think that companies are more focused on their agenda than the impact on society.
