New ArcGIS Platform as a Service solution launched by Esri

Esri, the mapping data and spatial analytics organization, has launched a new Platform as a Service (PaaS) offering that intends to make it easier for developers to embed location content and services into the applications.

A major player in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analytics, Esri has leveraged the ArcGIS software for building numerous COVID-19 tracking sites, including the John Hopkins Dashboard. The organization plans to make the software infrastructure available to developers via web frameworks and APIs. The ArcGIS platform was used by clients like Salesforce and Airspace Link to provide mapping abilities to the clients.
