Netwrix acquires Remediant in order to bolster its privileged access management offering

Data security firm Netwrix Corp. has acquired privileged access management startup Remediant Inc. for an undisclosed price to enrich its PAM offering.

The technology from Remediant will also be used by Netwrix to improve its technical capability in the Identity and Protect functions of the National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework in addition to allowing Netwirx to expand its PAM offering.

Existing Remediant customers will also be given access to additional security services through Netwrix’s current product line, lowering risk and enabling them to make more informed security decisions. Forgepoint Capital and Dell Technologies Capital are two investors in the business.
