Virtual desktop startup Nerdio Inc. has disclosed that it has secured a USD 117 million funding round led by Updata Partners.
The USD 8 million raise that closed in 2020 was followed by the Series B round. Nerdio intends to more than double its headcount over the following year using the new funding. As part of the effort, the startup wants to expand its sales team and leadership team as well as make a name for itself in more markets. Information technology teams, according to Nerdio, can further reduce manual work by utilizing an auto-scaling tool integrated into its platform.
