Thierry Breton, The European industry chief has recently announced regarding the EU approach to AI that there are now 22 EU member states joining the forces.
This is in a new alliance to support the local development and production of semiconductors to reduce the reliance on the bloc’s from foreign suppliers.
In Berlin following the meeting with Peter Altmaier, Economy Minister of German, Breton stated that underlined the European Commission’s goal to double Europe’s market share for global chips and semiconductor production. There will be around a 10% to 20% increase by 2030.
