Microsoft has already made a number of vertical/industry-specific cloud bundles available. Microsoft introduced another cloud package named Cloud for Sustainability on Day 1 of their virtual Inspire partner conference on July 14, 2021, which is more horizontal than vertical.
Microsoft’s Cloud for Sustainability, like its Cloud for Healthcare, Cloud for Retail, Cloud for Financial, Cloud for Manufacturing, and Cloud for Nonprofits, is designed to help corporate users customize the core Microsoft cloud services for unique purposes. Common data models, cross-cloud connectivity, workflows, application programming interfaces, and industry-specific components and standards are all packaged together in these industry clouds.
