Microsoft’s MSIX App Attach Now Available

Microsoft is rolling out a key component of its Windows Virtual Desktop service – MSIX App Attach.  Microsoft first hinted at plans for MSIX App Attach at the Build 2018 event. The company originally planned to enable MSIX App Attach on the Windows 10 side along with the Windows 10 20H1-2004 release. 

MSIX App Attach allows users to skip the need to keep multiple master images for various applications and the ability to integrate all their virtualized apps into one single image. App Attach also allows packaged applications to be kept outside a virtual machine and each application can attach itself as per the need of the users.
