Microsoft Unveils New Adaptable Accessories and Opens Inclusive Tech Lab

During the Microsoft Ability Summit on Tuesday, Microsoft revealed numerous new accessibility efforts. 

Microsoft’s first announcement was the creation of a dedicated Inclusive Tech Lab, where the company would continue to work on and create new accessibility features for people with all forms of disabilities. More accessibility improvements are coming to Windows 11, with some of them already available for those testing upcoming Windows 11 releases through the Insiders programme. 

The new features include improved Focus with a countdown, live captions for any audio being played (during a Zoom or Teams conversation, for example), enhanced voice access, and a more lifelike narrator voice.
