Microsoft to invest $1.5 Billion for Building Datacenter in Italy

Microsoft has announced that it will build its first data center region in Italy. The company has laid down a $1.5 billion investment plan to expand its cloud computing services to more locations across the world. The new datacenter region will be based in the Milan area, joining Microsoft’s other 60 regions announced globally.

Microsoft will also expand its technology partnership with postal operator Poste Italiane, helping the company to accelerate its digital transformation.
