Microsoft to Accelerate Sweden’s Digital Transformation

Microsoft announces a significant milestone in its commitment to enable sustainable digital transformation in Sweden. Microsoft will also launch a world-class, sustainable datacenter region in Sweden in 2021 with a presence in Staffanstorp and Gävle Sandviken.

The Microsoft Cloud delivered from datacenters will allow Swedish businesses to empower employees, transform products, engage customers, and optimize operations through connected experiences with advanced data security and privacy.

Microsoft has invested over $1.25 million (U.S.) in Sweden thus far in partnership with 13 organizations to advance STEM programs focused on youth, skilling, and culture.
