Microsoft Teams and Power Platform to Get AI-Assisted Collaboration Features

Microsoft is showing off a number of new features for Teams and Power Platform developers, including the ability to scan photographs and create bespoke Power Apps controls right from them.

Several new tools and capabilities for Teams and Power Platform developers are among the 50 new product and technology announcements at Microsoft’s Build 2022 developers conference. Teams will get a new feature dubbed “Live Share” that will allow apps to go beyond passive screen sharing and allow members to watch, edit/annotate, and create together within Teams sessions.

Developers can use the Teams Client software development kit (SDKnew) extensions in preview to enhance existing Teams apps and create Live Share scenarios in meetings.
