Microsoft Releases New Support Plans for Windows Server-01

Microsoft will no longer provide Semi-Annual Channel versions of Windows Server after Windows Server 2022. According to a new servicing update for the product, there will only be Long Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) releases of Windows Server in the future, which will receive ten years of support (five mainstreams and five extended).

Microsoft officials have already stated that the Windows Server 2022 release, named as LTSC, will be released in the second half of calendar year 2021. The product is already “done,” however it is currently undergoing testing with OEM partners and is available for evaluation by customers.
