Microsoft launches Azure Percept, its new software and hardware platform for bringing more of its Azure AI services to the edge. Percept combines Microsoft’s Azure cloud tools for managing devices and creating AI models with hardware from Microsoft’s device partners.
Microsoft aims to make it easier for businesses to build and implement AI for things like shelf analytics, keyword spotting at the edge, object detection, and anomaly detection. The aim is to provide businesses with an end-to-end solution that can help build AI models and subsequently deploy them on compatible hardware.
