Microsoft has appointed former Apple executive Ruben Caballero for its hardware division that makes HoloLens Mixed Reality headsets. Caballero will take over as Corporate Vice President Engineering – Hardware Design & Technology at Microsoft’s Mixed Reality and AI Division. Caballero worked as Vice President of Engineering at Apple for nearly 14 years and looked after the design of Apple products including iPhone and iPad.
