Microsoft Announces the Launch of Power BI Goals

At the Microsoft Business Applications Summit (MBAS) virtual event, Microsoft announced the launch of new Power BI Goals facility – a Power BI Premium feature that takes on performance management, breaking through the formality and rigidity that has been characteristic of products in the category.

To keep the goals relevant and to eliminate manual data entry in a disconnected environment, Power BI Goals makes use of everything in Power BI, including its vast array of data connectors, which enables it to be linked to essential business systems like ERP, CRM, and sales quota monitoring platforms. Goals is currently only available in the browser and requires a desktop, laptop, or tablet. However, the tech giant will soon release a smartphone version, designed for phone screens.
