Microsoft and FedEx today spoke about the next phase of their multi-year partnership, which they announced for the first time in 2020. On January 24, the couple revealed that they were working to integrate FedEx and Microsoft Dynamics 365 network capabilities to build a cross-platform. “Logistics as a service” offered to retailers, dealers and products.

In 2020, Microsoft said it would work with a FedEx customer to use statistics to improve supply chain visibility and delivery time. At the same time, they announced FedEx Surround, the first customer-centric FedEx offering built with Azure, which FedEx made available in December 2020. Today, officials said the integration of FedEx data with Dynamics 365 Intelligent Order Management will be available to US-based customers in the second half of 2022.
