The feature captures audio from a PC and allows users to transcribe meetings, calls, or even YouTube videos. Microsoft Word is also getting new dictation features, enabling users to use voice to format and edit text. The Transcribe feature supports the new Microsoft Edge or Chrome browsers, and transcribing audio is limited only to U.S. English.

At present, there is a five hour limit of transcription time per month for uploaded recordings and the file size limit is of 200 MB.
