Materialize Inc. has introduced new capabilities for its namesake streaming database, which makes it easier to build applications that process data in real time.
The New York-based company came out of stealth mode in 2020 and has more than US$100 million in funding. Prominent venture capital firms like Kleiner Perkins and Lightspeed Venture Partners are among the startup’s investors. Features that will enable the database’s new release, which Materialize unveiled recently, to support large-scale applications more effectively.
The release also promises to make the conversion of data into insights simpler.
