Mastercard has acquired the RiskRecon, the AI and security startup firm. With this acquisition, MasterCard can offer third-party assessment competencies and robust protection for customer payment data. The company can also allow customers a better way to assess the third party risks by utilizing RiskRecon’s AI and data analytics.
It is the fourth important security acquisition for MasterCard over the past few years, allowing the financial options and payment portal to increase its reach and cybersecurity offerings. RiskRecon is excited to complement MasterCard’s technology and strategy to protect the cyberspace. The team plans to accelerate the cyber solutions to help financial firms and government to secure their assets.
