LinkedIn, by Microsoft Corp, was sued by a New York-based iPhone user on last Friday for
allegedly referring to and diverting users’ sensitive content from Apple Inc’s Universal Clipboard application.
As per Apple’s website, Universal Clipboard permits users to only copy text, photos, images, and videos on a single Apple device and then paste that content onto another Apple device.
The lawsuit filed at the federal court, San Francisco, by Adam Bauer, confirms that LinkedIn
reads the Clipboard information without proper notification to the user.
