Jeff Weiner, LinkedIn CEO is stepping down as on June 1, 2020. Weiner is leaving the professional network after 11 years of the stint and joining the company’s board as its executive chairman and will report to the leadership team. Ryan Roslansky, who is currently VP for the product will be the new CEO at LinkedIn from June 1. Roslansky will report to Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadela. Microsoft is LinkedIn’s parent company.

Weiner said he was thinking about moving on for some time and that discussions on this matter were on within the company since last summer.
