Kraft Heinz Partners With Microsoft on Cloud Migration

Kraft Heinz, the world’s largest food manufacturer, has announced plans to improve supply chain visibility and day-to-day operations through the deployment of cloud, Artificial Intelligence, and digital twins as part of a new digital transformation partnership with Microsoft. 

Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, Kraft Heinz will migrate the majority of its global data center assets to Azure, as well as its enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to SAP on Azure, and establish a supply chain control tower that will act as a “air traffic controller” for Kraft Heinz’s 85 product categories’ supply chains. 

According to Kraft Heinz, the company also intends to create digital twins of its 34 North American production locations.
