Knative_ Google’s Kubernetes platform joins Cloud Native Computing Foundation-01

Knative, a Google open source platform for creating and managing non-server work in the Kubernetes area, is now part of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).

CNCF is a Linux Foundation project that focuses on developing Kubernetes and other important open source projects for global technology infrastructure. Members include tech organizations such as Apple, Amazon, Microsoft and Google.

Knative is now officially part of the CNCF as an incubating project but Google does still remain the project’s core contributor.
