Intel Corporation has recently announced that it would ramp up the innovative data center chip production in the first quarter of the year. This new generation of chip-making is expected to be its key share of the output of 2021.
The technology giant has struggled with intervals in working up the current 10-nanometer semiconductor manufacturing method. It is also similar to its next-gen 7-nanometer process. As a result, Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) could gain more market share.
Moreover, Intel noted its “Ice Lake” server chips would start ramping up this production this quarter – however, the company did not mention specific volumes.
