
Intel has announced the launch of three new microprocessors built for various types of 5G computers, plus a 5G-optimized network adapter for PCs. Intel unveiled the Atom P5900 CPU, which is based on Intel’s 10-nanometer manufacturing process. It features integrated packet processing, ultra-low latency, and a switch for inline cryptographic acceleration.

The chipmaker also launched the second-generation Xeon Scalable processor, which offers a top speed of 3.9GHz and comes with additional AI capabilities. Intel also launched its 700 series network adapters.
