Intel Corp has recently received licenses from the US authorities to continue supplying some products to Huawei Technologies. With the ongoing US-China tension, the White House has been pushing other countries around the world to remove Huawei.
This is due to the arguments that the telecom giant might be sharing data with the Chinese government. With the new curbs effective from September 15, US companies are barred from servicing or supplying equipment to Huawei.

Reportedly, the United States is in constant worry that the 5G dominance would provide China an advantage that they are not ready to accept.
