Intel Announces Investment in Reliance Jio Platforms

Intel Corporation has recently announced that it will be investing about $255 million for a
small stake to Reliance’s digital unit, Jio Platforms.
Reliance Industries Ltd. has sold out more than a quarter of Jio Platforms, which includes Jio Infocomm and its entertainment apps. It has raised $15.8 billion from its latest investors, including Facebook and KKR & Co.
The company is a big player in the Indian digital economy and announces its new e-
commerce ventures, security systems, smart homes, etc.
