IBM Wants Indian Data Policy to Support Software Growth

In India, the underlying data standards are a critically debated topic, and thus, the government is paying a lot of attention to the matter.

In this context, Arvind Krishna, IBM Chairman, and CEO believe that the country’s data standards and regulations need to be implemented to allow software growth and services exports. The tech giant indicated that innovation should happen combined with a conducive policy and regulation.

As Arvind Krishna explains, “When I’ve talked to certain secretaries and ministers is clearly a top topic because you have to enable it in a way that is not just good for the local economy. You have to do it in a way that allows exports of services and software to happen.”
