IBM Unveils 5G Telcos Cloud_ Reveals New Partnership

International Business Machines Corp has recently announced the launch of its new Cloud Platform – which is directed at various global telecom operators. The list includes Nokia and Samsung deploying 5G telecommunication. 

As the cloud platform uses software for network functioning, this initiative will augment the operators to build 5G networks with reduced costs. The US administration has been pushing big organizations to get more involved with the 5G technology. 

This will enable more advanced technologies, including self-driving cars, remote surgery, and automated manufacturing. IBM is aiming to supply services to its telecom partners in order to run their networks. This will help them in selling customized products to their customers.
