IBM has partnered with Delta Air Lines to explore the potential capabilities of quantum computing to transform experiences for customers and employees. The airline has entered into a multi-year collaborative effort with IBM – including joining the IBM Q Network which is designed to advance quantum computing, has more than 100 organizations spanning multiple verticals.
The IBM Q Network provides access to the company’s experts, developer tools, and cloud-based quantum systems through IBM Q Cloud, which has run hundreds of billions of executions. Delta is the first airline to join the IBM Q network. IBM is already experimenting with 100 clients for commercial quantum computing solutions.
