IBM Seeks Indian Data Policy to Support Its Software Growth

In India, the underlying data standards are now a critically debated subject matter, and hence, the government is paying a lot of attention to its policies. 

In this perspective, IBM Chairman and CEO, Arvind Krishna believes that the country’s data standards and regulations need to be implemented to enable software growth and services exports. The tech giant directed that innovation should happen combined with a conducive policy as well as regulation. 

Arvind Krishna mentioned in a statement, “When I’ve talked to certain secretaries and ministers is clearly a top topic because you have to enable it in a way that is not just good for the local economy. You have to do it in a way that allows exports of services and software to happen.”
