IBM has recently revealed a new line-up of its power systems capabilities along with open-source tools. These tools are aimed to help enterprises deploy and manage hybrid cloud infrastructures.
The technology giant has also announced the convenience of the OpenShift container platform from Red Hat in the IBM Power Virtual Servers. It is IBM’s infrastructure-as-a-service offering.
IT professionals were used to a completely different landscape before the pandemic. In fact, GM of IBM Cognitive Systems, Stephen Leonard mentioned in a statement, “But despite the challenges, they recognize that a hybrid cloud approach can offer 2.5x the value derived from a single public cloud, as measured by IBM’s Institute of Business Value.”
