IBM ramps up sustainability offering with Envizi acquisition-01

IBM announced the acquisition of Australian environmental data management company Envizi to help organizations better assess the impact of their supply chain. The financial details have not been disclosed, the agreement was finalized on January 11.

Big blue said Envizi will be integrated with its existing AI-powered environmental, social, and governance (ESG) software package, which includes IBM Maximo asset management solutions, IBM Sterling supply chain solutions, IBM Environmental Intelligence Suite, and IBM Turbonomic and Red Hat OpenShift capabilities.

Envizi software provides companies with a single true source of data analytics and comprehensive data throughout their business operations and dramatically accelerates IBM’s growing AI technology to help its businesses become more sustainable operations and supply chains.
