IBM is expanding its Power10 lineup with four new systems. The Power S1014, S1024, S1022 and E1050 are four new systems that IBM is adding to its Power10 lineup in order to address enterprise use cases, such as the increased demand for Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
All of the new servers that IBM has introduced make use of open-source OpenBMC project technologies. Secure code from OpenBMC is provided for managing the server’s baseboard in a way that is optimized for scalability and performance.
PyTorch and TensorFlow are only a couple of the well-liked open-source machine learning frameworks that IBM’s Power10 systems support and have been optimized for.
