IBM has developed a new natural language processing advance via the latest Project Debater effort tagged as Key Point Analysis. It intends to deploy AI for understanding and summarizing the crowd-sourced arguments. The technology has already been telecast on the “That’s Debatable” show on Bloomberg TV.

Key Point Analysis plans to boost AI systems’ capacity to understand and manage human languages. They believe that a significant amount of progress can be made by deploying NLP. IBM plans to commercialize the tech and use it in the Watson portfolio. For that, they need to ensure that its customizable, business executives-friendly, has streamlining ability, and is well-versed in NLP.
