On Thursday, IBM has proudly announced the launch of a cloud platform set to help 5G telecom operators successfully deploy 5G. The company has successfully on boarded Nokia and Samsung as well in their latest venture.
Instead of traditional physical equipment for performing networking operations, the cloud platform uses software to help telecom operators develop 5G networks rapidly by reducing costing and delivering customized services to enterprise clients.
This announcement is easing out the pressure on the U.S. government as the country has been pushing for a 5G network across multiple industries. Apart from IBM, tech giants such as Amazon and Microsoft have launched their own cloud platforms that target telecom operators.
