IBM Announces Acquisition of Waeg

IBM has announced the acquisition of Waeg, a Salesforce consulting partner focused on corporate customers in Europe. The deal, according to Big Blue, will expand Salesforce’s services and strengthen its hybrid cloud and AI strategy. The deal’s financial terms were not disclosed.

Mark Foster, SVP of IBM Services and Global Business Services, says, “Waeg’s strength in Salesforce consulting services will be key to creating intelligent workflows that allow our clients to keep pace with changing customer and employee needs and expectations.”

IBM says that by acquiring Waeg, it can gain expertise in helping businesses navigate complex integrations and unify processes and technologies.
