Huawei Technologies, the Chinese telecom equipment maker that has been struggling under US sanctions observed a slight growth in its annual performance. This helped with significant levels of confidence from its global consumers.
For obvious reasons, Huawei was confronted with severe difficulties in 2020, though its business operations were comparatively stable – with continuous support from its partners.
The telecom company had been put on an export blacklist by the former US President in 2019. As a result, it was barred from accessing critical technology of US origin, affecting the ability to design its chips as well as source components from external vendors.
