Ren Zhengfei, the founder of Huawei Technologies, has recently announced that it would be difficult for the United States to finish the sanctions – which have crippled its mobile phone business. However, the company is hoping the new administration to have an “open policy”.
Huawei decision-makers hoped that President Joe Biden would bear in mind the country’s business interests while forming the policies. It was “conducive” for the financial performance of US companies to supply Chinese firms.
As explained by Ren, “We hope the new administration will harbor an open policy for the benefit of the American firms and also the economic development of the US.”
