Huawei Technologies Co. has designed enterprise I.T. management software that could replace Oracle Corp.’s.
This is another step towards reducing its dependence on U.S. tech. The telecom gear maker that cannot utilize American technology without a license is developing its own software and chips to minimize the impact of the U.S. trade blacklist.
It’s replaced its traditional enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with a tool over which it has complete control, according to a report by Bloomberg.
