Reuters reports that HSBC is looking forward to tracking $20 billion worth of digital assets on a Blockchain-based platform by March next year. The Digital Vault custody platform will enable investors to get real-time access to records of securities purchased in private markets.

It will digitize paper-based records of private placements, using Blockchain to reduce the time it takes investors to make checks or queries on holdings.
