Hewlett Packard Enterprise new chief technology officer, Fidelma Russo, will take over on September 20. Russo will be in charge of the HPE GreenLake cloud computing services platform’s innovation agenda, roadmap, design, and development.
According to Forbes, Russo will succeed Kumar since HPE bought Kumar Sreekanti’s company, BlueData Inc., in December 2018, who was the chief technology officer and head of software. Sreekanti is retiring but will stay on to help with the leadership transition, according to the company. Sreekanti’s departure date has not been announced by HPE.
Russo has been the senior vice president and general manager of cloud services at VMware Inc. (NYSE: VMW).
