GreenBay technologies acquired by Informatica

Informatica announced the launch of AI startup GreenBay technologies. Informatica had previously invested in the same company as a measure to bridge the lack of machine learning features in its platform. ML functionalities are required to match schema and relevant data entities. The new functionalities will be integrated with Informatica’s pre-existing enterprise data catalog, master data management (MDM), governance, data integration, and privacy services.

CloudMaster tech, developed by GreenBay technologies, is based on Random Forest Machines ML techniques for various tasks. This platform then matches multi-structure or unstructured data sets’ data entities like products or customers. Such schema match relationships boost Informatica’s metadata knowledge graph created to identify relationships between various data sources.
